The school has developed a Transformational Plan that will support community regeneration.

The plan concentrates on the establishment of a course in Gaelic Media Studies that will support the survival of the language along with the development of media studies.

In addition, the development of technological capacity in the school and the expansion of vocational education provision will allow pupils to become e-confident. It will also enable them to maximise employment opportunities.

By embedding enterprise education across the school to create a more dynamic, ambitious environment, young people will be given the skills to create new industries. This will address the population drift from island life.
