Lossiemouth High School is a secondary school located in the coastal town of Lossiemouth. The school is run by the Mrs Brenda Gifford (rector) and the Senior Management Team. In 2005, Lossiemouth was one of the few schools which were chosen to be a school of ambition.
Built in 1979, the school has undergone a few modifications over the years including a new hall, reception, and teachers' lounge.
There are over 700 pupils studying at the school, all from the local towns, principally Hopeman, Burghead, Cummingston, and Duffus. Students at the school are divided into four houses; Kinnedar, Covesea, Pitgaveny, and Spynie.
