Kinlochleven High School is a six year comprehensive school for the south Lochaber area, which includes the villages and primary schools of Ballachulish, Duror, Glencoe and Kinlochleven. The school has approximately 140 pupils and twenty teaching staff.
In August 2008 a new school campus was opened as part of Highland Council's PPP2 scheme. The new school provides state of the art educational facilities, as well as extensive community facilities which include a 200 seat theatre venue. The campus is shared with Kinlochleven Primary School and stands in spectacular surroundings close to the world-famous West Highland Way.
The school campus is available for use in the evenings and at weekends by local groups and organisations. There are also opportunities for adults to join classes to gain further experience and qualifications.
