Culloden Academy is a large school situated to the east of Inverness in the north of Scotland. With a vibrant and safe working environment, the school also enjoys a relaxed social atmosphere. 

The school roll is currently 1031 with students enrolling from the associated primary schools: Croy, Duncan Forbes, Balloch, Ardersier, Smithton and Cradlehall. The school is architecturally superior to most schools of its age and sits in excellent rural surroundings close to forest and moorland but within easy striking distance of Inverness town. The school has excellent facilities for learning and teaching and for most sports, including a superb swimming pool.  The school is open to the public outwith school hours for most days of the year.
