Argyll College was formed in 1997 to meet the demand for further and higher education in one of the most geographically fragmented areas of Scotland. It has twelve learning centres throughout the mainland and islands of Argyll which enable students to meet, study, and take part in a growing range of courses.
Argyll College is one of fifteen partners in the UHI Millennium Institute, working closely with other UHI Academic Partners, Argyll College provides accessible education and training of the highest standard, to support the development of people, business and communities in Argyll and the Islands.
Argyll College also has a childcare nursery and construction skills centre. Courses are delivered in open learning or on-line format, while guidance, tutorial support, and ICT equipment is provided by the college.
